What Joy’s Clients Say

Posted by Joy on Oct 24 2008 | What Joy's Clients Say

Joy’s energy and guidance walk with me along my life’s path shining a light in the darkness when I am having difficulty cleaning my own lenses.  I have tried other therapy in the past and did gain and grow from it; however, I could tell after my first session with Joy that I would make leaps and bounds in my healing under her guidance and loving care.  I first came to her for help with emotional, heart, and life issues.  Last year, though, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer so my journey with her took a slight turn.  Here’s where I cannot write without tears for her presence during that uncharted path and the space she held for me in her heart was invaluable.  She not only helped me prepare for and recover from surgery, she guided me through a very tough decision and helped me find my own answer about whether to proceed with chemotherapy.  Her ability to work with me through my treatments, I am certain, contributed immensely to the fact that I am now cancer free.  I can, without hesitation, recommend her gifts to help you continue moving toward your personal wholeness.  She is friend, healer, guide, inspiration and light.  My life is definitely richer having her in it.

Daniel’s response to Soul Sonar workshop

Posted by Joy on Oct 21 2008 | What Joy's Clients Say

“I thought the sound was one of the most curious and intriguing sounds I’ve ever heard, especially from a human throat.  Most of the time during the…toning I guess is a good word…I felt like I normally do during a guided imagery–not totally present in the room.  But the experience changed when I could sense that she was standing in front of me and making the sound “at” me.  Then it was as if the sound was my consciousness/being and the rhythm as she went from lower volume to higher volume was the “breath” of my consciousness.  It was as if the sound reverberated throughout my entire body and down through each molecule.”

haikus

Posted by Joy on Oct 21 2008 | Art and Creativity

Recently I had a dream that has been deeply nurturing. The wisdom within the dream has prompted me to write. Let me know if any of the haikus land on you in a way that has meaning for you.

I am disciple.

The teacher lies within me.

One forms the other.

I’m learning to crawl,

propelling myself through words.

In my mouth they go.

Taking care of mind

I rock cranial cradle

Head first I fall in

Full incarnation

Is an ongoing process

No need to rush it

Oh rush it, I do

Self conscious of unconscious

Fierce drive to stand all

Does it matter if

I respond to the calling?

Who hears my answer?

As I wrote the above Haiku, the answer to my question came to me. It is the God reflected in you, in me, in each of us, that listens. We are all here to give witness to each other’s response to our calling. I recognize the absolute beauty in our individuation. I have compassion for the trials and tribulations we each face, as we seek to embody the authentic self, as we answer our calling. Each response unique.
